How do you raise your vibration? We’ve all heard the saying “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. But sometimes we’re so low that all we want to do is grab that lemon and cut it up to go with our bottle of tequila.
So here are 5 ways you can raise your vibe fast when you’re down in the dumps.
Society tells us we’re not allowed to be sad or bitchy or angry or anything that doesn’t look good on social media. So, a lot of the time we push it down and suppress it which is actually really toxic for our bodies. What you really need to do is let it out. Punch that pillow, scream, yell cry, do what you gotta do to feel it. It’s not until you do, that you can let it go and all of a sudden, you’ll notice a shift.
Life has us so busy these days that we always forget about taking care of number one. Ourselves. And if you’re not going to do it who is? So, take yourself out. Dance. Read a book. Journal. Have a bath. Whatever your jam is…do that.
There is a lesson in everything. Sometimes it helps to shift your perspective and ask yourself what’s the good that’s going to come out of this situation. And if you can’t see it yet, which is normal, think about the possibilities.
This one took me a long time to get in to but once I did it made such a difference. Once you quiet the mind and all the craziness that’s going on in there (which ain’t easy and takes a lot of practice to even get there for small chunks of time) you instantly feel better, more clear and lighter. Because you connect with who you are at your soul.
Now this one’s new to me, I just heard about it a few months ago but there have been a lot of studies around it. The idea is to connect with the earth with your bare feet. When your bare feet or skin comes in contact with the earth, free electrons are taken up into the body. These electrons are basically nature’s biggest antioxidants. There is a whole slew of benefits that this gives you but two key ones here is that it increases energy and vitality, and lowers stress and promotes calmness in the body by cooling down the nervous system and stress hormones.
